A few words about me

I am currently an Yggdrasil research fellow at the ARENA – Centre for European Studies, University of Oslo and a research associate at the Centre for the Study of Political Change (CIRCaP), University of Siena. I hold a PhD in Comparative and European Politics from the same university. My main research interests include EU party politics, parties and party systems in political parties in Southern and Eastern Europe, and e-politics.

I have recently spent visiting research periods at the Sussex European Institute (SEI) and at the Institute for European Studies (IES), Université Libre de Bruxelles. Both the centres were designated Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence by the European Commission. So far there are only 25 such centres in the EU. In June and July 2012, I will spend a research period at the Bahçeşehir University Center for Economic and Social Research (BETAM) in Istanbul with a grant of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

I got my BA from the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Bologna in October, 2005. Following the admission to the 2nd year of doctoral studies, I received a Master Scientifico-Culturale.

I am currently serving as Teaching Assistant in Italian Political System and Public Policy Analysis.

I am also co-editor of Interdisciplinary Political Studies that I contributed to establish with Nelli Babayan.
